Savannah, Georgia

Our collaboration with Whole Foods Market began here, in Savannah, Georgia.  Other key contributors were 3 students from Design for Ability. Design for Ability is a locally grown non-profit that serves the special populations high school students who are enrolled in vocational training programs. We worked closely with these three students throughout the design and build process, it was great learning opportunity for apprentice and mentor alike!

The materials for this project included: salvaged heart pine and maple bowling alley lanes from Southern Pine Company, deconstructed pallet wood from DIRTT Savannah and reclaimed heart pine from Ken Russell.
