Whole Foods Market: Hilton Head

Summer 2014 has proved to be a busy time here at OxForm Studio! We have had the pleasure of working with Whole Foods Market once again, for their next build right around the corner in Hilton Head, South Carolina.

In true OxForm fashion, pine lumber was sourced from Georgian sawmill Diamond G Lumber, a  supplier of regional rough-cut lumber.

We were able to mix this new pine lumber with salvaged heart pine, cypress and pecky cypress planks to create a total of 26 tables and 2 interior bar tops. A custom inlay engineered with salvaged heart pine runs as an accent band on the larger interior dining tables, while hand-carved bands of pecky cypress were utilized as banding on the smaller exterior cypress tables.

All in all, our final, custom mix, driftwood finish reflects the beach community of Hilton Head.
